I am an experienced IC Consultant focused on Ion Chromatography separations and occasional HPLC. My role is multi-faceted and include methods development for difficult samples, evaluate instruments and software to meet the need of the client, I assist clients with IC performance issues, help lower costs by evaluating columns, instrument choices, determine possible alternatives, and perform IC separations in my laboratory for customers with difficult samples and unique challenges. My IC experience started at Exxon R&D in 1980 where I developed methods, wrote my first white papers, and spoke at conferences on the subject of IC applications in wastewater, petrochemicals, and alternative fuels. I then spent several years with Dionex. My first laboratory I owned was an IC focused lab that I eventually sold in 2000.
